The opposite of content design

Yes, the opposite of joy is also joy—in our content and design work.

While writing a LinkedIn post on content design, I felt a strange joy. While the post was about the missed opportunities in products because of lack of content design, that pain was also a joy, and suddenly I found the opposite of content design.

I thought about it and felt that sometimes, the opposite of joy is also joy.

Just as in content and design, content strategy, and in UX work, the opposite of fatigue is also fatigue. I thought about it more.

  • the opposite of cluelessness is also cluelessness—this is an absolute
  • the opposite of energy is energy—we see it while designing a message
  • the opposite of anti-design is also anti-design
  • the opposite of system is also a system
  • the opposite of stupidity is also stupidity
  • the opposite of algorithm is also an algorithm—for example AI too is an absolute

Yes, the opposite of joy is also joy—in our content and design work.

Since there are no real opposites, design is not hard.
