Content management for NFTs—a superb talk by Josh Anderson

Josh explains the structure of an NFT in terms of contract and metadata which makes it directly reference-able to the language of structured content.

While attending the OmnichannelX conference last week, I found a reference to this talk by Josh Anderson of Precision ContentNFTs and Content Management. I am quite neutral on NFTs so far and I do not really encourage or discourage NFTs in any form either as technologist or as a consumer but the content management part caught my attention.

I saw the slides, and Josh explains the concept very well. One of the slides talk about Block Protocol, an open standard for building data-driven block-based interfaces.

Josh explains the structure of an NFT in terms of contract and metadata which makes it directly reference-able to the language of structured content. This is a good piece of learning to me.

Later, Josh explains the payments concept as microcontent. I saw that Mark Baker’s book—Every Page is Page One is mentioned as one of the references.

It is another reason for me to explore Block Protocol not necessarily for NFTs but for any other use case in my work. I remember I tweeted about this new tool a few months ago.
